My Life
The 'My Life' project seeks to address the isolation, stigma and discrimination surrounding mental health, increasing accross and participation in football/multi-sport activities while further contributing towards encouraging and supporting individuals to make healthier lifestyle choices. The project seeks to build self-confidence and self-esteem to help participants take a more active role within the local community, developing links with voluntary organisations and sports clubs. Accredited training opportunities are also offered including FA Level 1 courses, Referee courses and Junior Organiser courses.

The project sits in support of Blackburn Rovers Community Trust's commitment to developing a comprehensive and diverse range of community initiatives and partnership working practices to effectively support the local community and its economy. To this end the Trust is working closely with key partners including Blackburn with Darwen NHS; Blackburn with Darwen BC; Lancashire Care NHS Foundation Trust; Making Space; CAHMS; Blackburn College; JobCentre Plus and University of Central Lancashire.
