Dance sessions provide an invigorating and creative experience for students and a particularly good pay of engaging them in physical activity. Contributing to both the physical and psychological wellbeing of participants the sessions are a stimulating and fun from of exercise, including stretches, gentle cardiovascular work and learning simple dance sequences. In addition to the beneficial effects on cardiovascular function, strength, co-ordination and balance, there is a strong emphasis on creative release, with participants being encouraged to be imaginative and inventive in the movement they do, helping build their confidence and self esteem.

Sessions concentrating on particular dance genre such as street dance, hip hop, cheer dance, bollywood, or aerobic movement are delivered. Alternatively pupils can use the interactive dance mats in the Trust's Performing Arts Studio at Ewood Park. This programme can be delivered on school site or at Ewood Park. It may also be incorporated as an hour's activity into many other programmes followed at the stadium.
