Street Soccer
The project encourages some of the most at risk young people living in Blackburn with Darwen to engage in a more positive evening activity through organised football sessions at community facilities. The main aim is to offer young people a positive and healthy option in their free time, where they can express themselves in a safe and enjoyable environment. Consequently, there has been a noticeable reduction in anti-social behaviour in communities where the initiatives are being delivered.
